Pont Alexandre III, Paris
Categories: Bridges, Landmarks, Tourist Spots
Widely regarded as the most ornate, extravagant bridge in Paris, Pont Alexandre III is an arch bridge spanning the Seine that connects the Champs-Élysées to les Invalides and the Eiffel Tower district. This picturesque bridge, built from 1896 to 1900, features exuberant Art Nouveau lamps and sculptures of cherubs and nymphs at either end. Be sure to look up toward the top of the massive columns to view four gilt-bronze statues of Pegasus held by Fames that watch over the bridge. You'll want to spend an adequate amount of time looking for the hidden images that are carved into the pillars and the arch of the bridge: water spirits, cupids, sea monsters, and more. Nice bridge. Come and get your wedding pictures here! Watch out for the Gipsy, they will come to you pretending they are deaf and will make you sign a list and then you will have to pay them.

Probably the most beautiful bridge in the world. Both sides of the bridge are adorned by two huge pillars with a statue atop, while the bridge itself has many sizeable and mystifying carvings at various points of the bridge. The Tour Eiffel can also be seen a distance away. Many great photo opportunities here.

Nice bridge, nice view of the whole city of Paris from different perspectives. The bridge is close to many places deserve to be visited like the Small Palace, the Great Palace and the Army Palace.
The most beautiful bridge in the Paris. A friendship bridge between Russia and France a long time ago. Great gold statues
