Passage Verdeau, Paris
(4.4/5 based on 85+ reviews on the web)
This covered walkway, Passage Verdeau, lends an air of elegant charm with its neoclassical glass roof and fine shops. Although connected to other passages, including passages Panoramas and Jouffroy, this lesser known aisle has a stretch of antique stores, rare bookshops, and vintage dealers, making it an interesting place for you to shop for souvenirs. You also can’t miss the century-old photo shop that has existed since 1901.

Passage Verdeau was constructed in 1847 and is named after M. Verdeau. It’s also located right next door to the famous antiques and fine art auction house of Hotel Drouot. • Passage Verdeau faces of Jouffroy and date from the time of the development of the area in 1847. They keep still this side a bit old-fashioned and intimate neoclassical old sets and with a great canopy Fishbone. Small businesses are installed in these two passages, which are located on the street of the Grange Batelière with side access streets opposite street of Faubourg Montmartre to the passage Verdeau and Boulevard Montmartre for the passage Jouffroy. Small restaurants with cosy décor and intimate atmosphere, are established in the passage Verdeau, including the Bistro and Holy Bowl with tables and chairs in the passage itself. These passages are driven only during the day. I love wander these walkways and make the shopping tour including those where old books... romantic and peaceful atmosphere pleasant. Since the arrival of the room of sales Drout, very close to antique shops, are present in this very lively district. These passages are accessible by the metro station "Grands Boulevards, rue Montmartre" lines No. 8 and 9 and then taking the street of Faubourg Montmartre.
