  • It is not part of the most beautiful Parisian passages. Established in 1825, it has two entrances, one to the 145 street Saint Denis and the other on Piazza Goldoni. It measures a hundred meters long. You can enjoy its large canopy. Inside, a restaurant in angle of entry, designer shops, decorators, fashion... A few nice signs and a bas-relief. It is extended by the passage of the village the Abbot leading to the street of Turbigo. Come to metro station "Etienne Marcel".

  • This is a beautiful little 'passage' in a great little neighborhood. It's a must-see when you are walking around, shopping & enjoying Paris. Love!  more »
  • It is unquestionably one of the most beautiful passages covered in Paris. While with a magnificent several meters high canopy and wrought iron, it connects the Saint Denis Street and the square Goldoni near Turbigo Street and the beautiful pedestrian district Montorgueil. It houses several shops of artisans.

  • Very cool experience, walking through these ancient arcades. Would recommend and if you plan your path right, you can hit a large number of them walking north to south towards the Seine.
  • one of the few well preserved "passages" that were kept at the time of the Haussmann's renovation of Paris.
  • Nice, very Parisian style, high, cute shops, not very many, not very big.

  • Beautiful Parisian passage, for me one of the most beautiful. Charming place, there seems to no longer be in Paris, but to have a leap back in time.

Where to stay in Paris

Each of the city’s 20 arrondissements, or districts, has a personality all its own. If you prefer high-end accommodations and to be in the middle of the action, look for lodging in the 1st through the 4th arrondissements. For more affordable lodging and access to major metro lines, try the 12th. The Oberkampf area of the 11th arrondissement has an edgier, more hip vibe. For easy access to tourist sites,  the 16th is within a stone’s throw of the Arc de Triomph and the Eiffel Tower, and the 17th is within walking distance to the Champs-Elysées. Avoid the 18th, 19th, and 20th, because these can be dangerous, especially if you’re not familiar with the city.
