It's very expensive! Certainly, animals are well treated and shaped, while the renovation is aesthetically successful, however in the end, the account isn't there. Just compare it to the zoos in Sydney, Shanghai, Taipei, Singapore...show original

But I know of Beauval or Grammat and if Vincennes is not at their level, it remains a beautiful zoo. Enclosures are large enough in general and animals seem to be particularly well treated. Trainers who present us with the penguins, giraffes and other species are very educators and learns many things each time. The site is clean, welcoming, and stayed there for 5 hours walking family which, in view of the price of admission, made one apparent satisfied with this beautiful day. A few caveats still because we are in Paris, tourist capital and it is always unpleasant to go in poorly maintained toilets where it is impossible to dry his hands because no unit does... The most confusing in this park is almost impossible to feed. At 1 pm we bought last 4 half sandwiches had the unfortunate seller, only to try to settle a dozen people that as we were hungry, we continue thinking have more luck in the next point restoration and same disillusionment, a single seller and 20 people at least waiting; as for the restaurant, if one can call it that, to serve a burger fries in a low range plastic plate it is lamentable and finally at 4 pm, next to the picnic space, 2 food places were totally closed. In the end, we were 5 people, we spend less than 40 euros to try to feed us and we spend more if it had been possible. Clean, modern, and most importantly, a lot of open space for the animals to roam around. It doesn't feel like they are caged up. No small enclosures. I love that they had so many restrooms throughout the paths! Helps when you spend a whole day at the zoo. Next time, I'll bring a picnic lunch. They have a lot of open areas for you and family to enjoy a meal. I think a better option than the cafes.
Super modern Zoo with smart layout. Expensive, but worth while. Very modern zoo area. New aquarium area and everything very clean and well organized. It may sound as if an clean and well organized zoo would work for your well being. But you can actually see much mire in a clean aquarium that brings you close to where the animals are and offers large wide clean glass fronts that you can look through. See the pictures to understand what I am talking about. Children can get a view through low level fences and glass fronts. The entrance fee is pretty high and the automatic vending machines wouldn’t accept any cards. The zoo is spacy and creates a calm atmosphere. It is most probably the most modern zoo that I have visited until now. I assume that everything has been renovated recently. The area is relatively small. The layout is smart and in some areas with almost invisible electric fences that make you feel as if you were within the animals territory. There are no elephants in this zoo.
The newly renovated zoo of Paris is super hygienic and modern. Each section is well organized. However, here they only care about the well being of the animals. The animals must call it heaven, but for the spectators, it is not a zoo. How can we call here a zoo, when we cannot find so few. The lions were disappeared from its grand case, bcz of the blazing sun during the day light. How can we satisfied with just some video clips which is functioning just next to the case? You cannot even sniff a typical smell of the zoo. Bcz there aren't many of animals. Why don't they change their name as a 'Botanical garden'?
One of the best zooparks! Very clean and modern. The Vivarium is unique and a must see.
