  • The parks of Paris just feel big and grand and stately. They are so large and green and there are lots of spaces to people watch and enjoy coffee, a book or just relax. This one is no different.  more »
  • Huge expanse of greenspace that seems to go on forever, but never quite gets uncomfortably far from Tour Eiffel.  more »
  • Don't miss to do your own picnic here with such a nice view. Very nice grass but these days cause of the warm weather in some spots the grass is not very good. This is because of so many people. Somet...  more »

  • It's a great area to be active. This is where my child was able to run and let out some energy. There is also a child's play area. It's a beautiful green area where people relax and enjoy the greenery and the views around them. It's lovely.
  • I guess this was where everybody came to drink some wine with bread and cheese. There were lots of people around different times of the day. Looked like everyone was having fun. Personally I feel there's nothing to it really. Just a narrow field leading you to the Eiffel tower which personally I think it's way overrated. It's ok to visit these symbolic icons of the city once in your life though when you want to be a tourist. Visited in August 2010.
  • Situated next to the Eiffel Tower it is as majestic and as beautiful as ever. You get to see and visit both attractions. Pity that it is gated due to to the heavy tourist visiting the Iconic monuments and looks to be a high risk area with all the military around. But non the less it is a good choice to visit as it can encompass a number of attraction and features situated around the Eiffel Tower. Must visit.
  • The grassy area was lovely, very beautiful, well kept lawn and beautiful flowers, and of course an amazing view of the Eiffel Tower. You can picnic here as a lot of people were doing. Downside was the people trying to sell stuff, grabbing you and not letting you say no. Very intimidating and should be more security stopping this kind of thing as it spoils the experience.
  • 1) A group of con artists targeting tourists with the shell game. 2) Lots of foreigners illegally selling Eiffel Tower souvenirs. 3) A fake association collecting donations to help the deaf, but none of them understand sign language and they run away when I go to get the police to shut them down. 4) A sign for public WiFi, but there's no signal. 5) Surprisingly, I didn't see the usual fake designer bags that devalue our great French products. At least that was good. However, I'd give 5 stars for the security services by the police, gendarmes, military & private guards.
