Parc Andre-Citroen, Paris

(3.9/5 based on 160+ reviews on the web)
Parc Andre-Citroen is a blooming public park located on the left bank of the river Seine. If you’re looking to get away from the bustle of the city, try this verdant haven, embellished with two greenhouse pavilions that host exotic plants and Mediterranean vegetation, and are separated by running fountains.

As you venture to the southern part of the park, you’ll find a monumental canal, the "Jardin des Métamorphoses", composed of an elevated reflecting pool. Head to the northern side for the six "Serial Gardens", each with a distinct landscape and architectural design, and a "Garden in Movement" that presents wild grasses selected to respond at different rates to wind velocity. By using our Paris trip generator, you can arrange your visit to Parc Andre-Citroen and other attractions in Paris.

  • One of Paris' most recently-constructed parks, Andre-Citroen was built on the former site of the Citroen factory. Good use of obsolete industrial land. Some open spaces and some interesting water trea...  more »
  • There are several points of water in the park so that children play and cool off. the Park is big, there are quiet places where to rest in the shade and large spaces for play including the famous battle of giant water that takes place each year between the pirates and sailors. PS: it is better to dress as sailors they are stronger ;) we won in 2016!

  • The rope runs slowly and you see the ground move away... and then we discover the capital otherwise: the Eiffel Tower, the Montparnasse tower, the towers of defence and in the distance, Montmartre. In good weather, it's beautiful. Do absolutely at a crossing in the city.

  • This is probably one of the hidden gems of Paris (at least for an average tourist). First, the park itself is beautiful, second, it has amazing architecture surrounding the park and inside it and third, it has one of the coolest attraction in Paris, the hot air baloon! Visit it and you won't regret it!
  • This is Paris' Park of Parks. It's one huge garden, with several smaller gardens. I visited on a miserable day during the June 2016 floods but that didn't distract at all. The dancing fountain, the Grand Balloon, the smaller gardens and the 2 greenhouses and the water features make it a worthwhile visit.
  • Nice parc to spend time rwading, painting or with the family, also you can go in a ballon to have a nice views of Paris. Better to visit in summer.
  • Ok park, with nice fountains and some plants. There is also a balloon that probably gives a nice view of Paris if you go up. Has a very good, but expensive café. Toilets are limited and not clean.
  • Beautiful quite park, with lawns and fountains. Great for a picnic.
