  • How wonderful (and how sad compared to the sad situation italica)! The facility is beautiful, made even more impressive by the garden or woods which opens in outer space site between 4 buildings. Impressive that Sunday morning at 12.30 there was a queue of women about 80 meters, pending the opening of the library to be able to go to school. There are also steps that work benches and ample space to walk around. Some walls of the façade work from broad steps sloping down towards the road. Sunday is mostly closed but on other days the library is surrounded by cafes and shops. To see.

  • This library is still in the works, but the public can have free access to the huge room, Labrouste, that comes to be restored, and houses the collections of the national Institute of history of art (INHA). It has 400 places of reading and of the entrance you can admire the arch made of nine Domes of byzantine pace, supported by 16 thin columns. This modern room which seems was built in the second half of the 19 th century by Henri Labrouste, to also the Sainte Genevieve library.

  • MORE on: beautiful exhibitions, in a spacious place, less bright: areas such as the Richelieu prohibited the public room!
