Dedicated to the works of the French sculptor Auguste Rodin, Musee Rodin is home to the master sculptor's workshop and contains most of his significant creations including "The Thinker," "The Kiss," and "The Gates of Hell." You'll find many of the statues displayed in the lush gardens surrounding the villa. The art on display inside is very diverse, as Rodin was an art collector in addition to being an artist himself. The awesome collection includes 6,600 sculptures, 8,000 drawings, 8,000 old photographs, and 7,000 objets d’art. Paintings you can see from Rodin’s personal collection include works by Vincent van Gogh, Camille Claudel, and Pierre-Auguste Renoir. • Beautiful museum that’s quite hidden! You don’t need to buy ahead, you can just go there and buy there (no queue when we were there). There’s a beautiful garden and a wonderful house with various sculptures and artwork. Recommend! Pros: - Beautiful sculptures - Garden you can chill at - Cafe inside - Don’t need to buy tickets ahead - Not too crowded Cons: - Not the nicest toilets - No AC
  • One of most important museums in Paris and a must to visit. Small and cozy with amazing gardens with sculptures. Great art collection. The temporary Picasso-Rodin exhibition was very interesting! I spent approximately 4 hours there, there are a lot to see!! If you book tickets online you don’t have to wait… recommended 👍🏻 The souvenir shop is also very interesting.. the prices are a bit overpriced Overall the museum a must! Amazing!! Strongly recommended
  • Really nice museum with many sculptures by Rodin (both inside and outside). It even has a few paintings by Van Gogh and others. The outside is a very nice garden. The only warning is that the indoor portion can get very very hot (not air conditioned) and while there are fans in all the rooms, the air circulation is not great (I was also there when it was 40 Celsius though).
  • Probably my most favorite activity and museum in Paris. The rose garden at the entrance is sublime. Stroll the peaceful gardens and see all of Rodin's beautiful and large bronze sculptures in the garden. Go inside to see mostly sculptures in marble. Not far from Rue Grenelle for those who want to shop at the incredible boutiques on this street!
  • A beautiful museum for a beautiful day. Tucked away near Les Invalides, it's easy to leave this museum off your "must-see" list, but it's definitely worth a visit. Both the house and gardens are full of Rodin's fascinating art and sculptures. Will be coming back in Spring/Summer to see how the gardens have bloomed!
