4.3/5 based on 30+ reviews on the web
See the apartment and lab of a great scientist at Musée Pasteur. This is where Louis Pasteur, famous for discovering the process now called pasteurization, spent the last seven years of his life. Hardly touched since that time, the building is chock-full of over 1,000 pieces of personal memorabilia and scientific instruments. Pasteur and his wife are buried on the grounds in a flamboyant, mosaic-decorated mausoleum. You may only enter the site by guided tour, and photos are not allowed.
