  • Visited a first Sunday of the month, the Museum is long closed for work is beautiful and it is easy to move, and to discover each piece. One learns and discovers the works of this artist well known in his time and forgotten today. To do if you're in the neighborhood.

  • Charming discovery that this museum located in a beautiful mansion recently renovated the pleasure to discover this artist and some paintings amazing, power study the brief details the opposite of the big exhibitions the Museum organizes also many activities: concerts, activities for children etc...

  • Recently reopened this particular hotel, very beautiful, is characteristic of its time and the extension of Paris on the "plaine Monceau". Time travel insured, refined and elegant. As to the work of J. J. Henner, deserves to be discovered, even if it is for the "hard" arts. It's really a good time. Special mention for interactive floor displays and especially for the gray living room. And outgoing, go for a tea and a pastry to the 78 villiers at Kevin Lacôte av!

  • The museum reopened after a long period of renovation. The paintings and sketches of Henner are exquisite. While the museum space is small and the number of works displayed is relatively limited, there is a special atmosphere about this museum that lets you travel in time as if you were living in the "atelier" of Henner and watching him creating these paintings. The museum has also a rich cultural agenda of events that complements these wonderful paintings.
  • It's a quick visit as the museum is small but it is interesting to see the inside of these old buildings.
  • Alsatian painter unknown 19th, he had a reputation as a portraitist. His mansion, in 1923, became a museum dedicated to his work. On three levels, 300 works, furniture and objects put forward his career of painter and his workshop. Discover under the heritage days or as part of the museums free the first Sunday of the month.

  • Very kitsch. It is not disturbed, because few people visit. Collection of paintings centered on JJ Henner, very minor painter of the second half of the Nineteenth century. Comes to reopen after a renovation: courtyard covered, more information panels, opening on the artistic effervescence of the Seventeenth district at the time.

  • The most beautiful Museum of Paris simply. Henner is a forgotten artist to rediscover.
