  • Inconspicuous from the outside, a large collection inside. A small Pavilion, works on two levels. Deserves to be known.

  • While I live in the neighborhood I had never visited this museum. Instead, a very interesting mansion that immerses us in the 2nd empire is worth to him alone. Then come the works of Henner, and his sublime portraits. Some of his paintings are academic else are more modern especially his portraits of women limit blurred to the diaphanous skin. It is ideal for a visit on Sunday. Price €6 full price.

  • It comes to the mansion of Jean-Jacques Henner, romantic and Alsatian painter, which is not inconsistent. He visited pleasantly and quickly. Beautiful paintings and most importantly, interesting historical aspect. Nice little shop at the entrance.

  • The museum reopened after a long period of renovation. The paintings and sketches of Henner are exquisite. While the museum space is small and the number of works displayed is relatively limited, there is a special atmosphere about this museum that lets you travel in time as if you were living in the "atelier" of Henner and watching him creating these paintings. The museum has also a rich cultural agenda of events that complements these wonderful paintings.
  • It's a quick visit as the museum is small but it is interesting to see the inside of these old buildings.
  • Alsatian painter unknown 19th, he had a reputation as a portraitist. His mansion, in 1923, became a museum dedicated to his work. On three levels, 300 works, furniture and objects put forward his career of painter and his workshop. Discover under the heritage days or as part of the museums free the first Sunday of the month.

  • Very kitsch. It is not disturbed, because few people visit. Collection of paintings centered on JJ Henner, very minor painter of the second half of the Nineteenth century. Comes to reopen after a renovation: courtyard covered, more information panels, opening on the artistic effervescence of the Seventeenth district at the time.

  • The most beautiful Museum of Paris simply. Henner is a forgotten artist to rediscover.
