  • At the beginning, upon entry, one is impressed with the many models (sometimes very large!) of the various ships. But, unless you're a (e) Designer yourself, attended the 20th model, it is a little jaded. Overdose of models. And, although it is absolutely not claustrophobic, it comes to feel oppressed (no window, very dim light). I'd also appreciate a greater share in the section of exploration/discovery. Where are the models of the caravels used to discover America? Finally, after 90 minutes we have enough. Nevertheless, it is very well done and children seem to enjoy (but they also have their limits ;))

  • For children and for adults. The best naval museum in the world in my opinion, a happiness for designers by the number of models on display, and the perfection of their realization. The renovation made him lose a part of the 3rd Republic atmosphere which prevailed, but that nobody was obliged to love. In short, go!

  • Very enjoyable. Collection includes paintings that used to be in the Louvre. Nice nautical collection including a great set of paintings of ports around France. The boat models were interesting, and if you like war ships, there is a section of models, paintings and other military items.
  • It is a collection of miniatures of ships from all times and kinds. If it interests you, you will love it, but if ships are not your thing, you better use your time differently. The museum is quite expensive for its size and collection. Without hurry, you can see the whole museum in 1 1/2- 2 hours.
  • Nice collection of detailed ship models from many eras. Admission included in the Paris Museum Pass.
  • Nice museum! Really interesting. There are great big ship models!!!!
  • Musee national de marine all about art . Good place to see the tourists.
