  • Once the entry found (next to the imposing façade known) it drags to sell tickets after we sneak between visitors to the first room. The groups make the caps and the speaker means. • Too many people at the show Foujita. Many inaccessible tables! Poor organization. Avoid absolutely.

  • Organization average if more than ten visitors at once... and Foujita attracts a lot of people! Exhibition places too small.

  • The Foujita exhibition is very good, but it was hard enjoying it - the rooms are very small, and often you have to wait in a small line before seeing a drawing or a picture. Even when not many people are inside a room, it's very crowded. The permanent collection is nice as well - some Maillol drawings and sculptures, some of them are really impressive. I'd recommend visiting, but try to avoid coming when it's full.
  • The reviews below are right. Not many things in English (which makes no sense for the POP art exhibition), no pictures are allowed (see my picture below muahaha), and it's an OK exhibition. The picture thing makes no sense, the security people are after that other than actually taking care of the works of art. I saw children almost climbing on the cigarettes sculpture! I saw the permanent exhibition last year so I didn't even bother going up there (not a Maillol fan myself). I do think that the rooms are REALLY small and the curators should know better when placing text in high transit areas! Plus, I've seen many more well-known works of art by Warhol, Lichtenstein and Oldenburg. Not my favorite pieces at Maillol. What I enjoyed the most was an 1980 documentary :/
  • The temporary Pop Art exhibition is a five star experience. Love the selection and explanations. In order to follow the exhibition in English pick up the audio guide or a detailed printout, otherwise you will be rather lost as everything is notated in French. No photos allowed for the temporary exhibition. Maillol permanent exhibition is rather underwhelming.
  • Splendid! Fantastic! I learned a lot about Pop Art. But the icing on the cake were the beautiful life-like sculptures on the second floor. The women are beautiful and so alive that you want to grab them around the waist and dance with them!
  • Paris has an abundance of beautiful museums and galleries.Maillol is more intimate with a small gallery space and great curation of exhibitions. It features diverse work and often 'big names' in the art world. It's on my must do list in Paris.
