  • This beautiful Museum presents both temporary exhibitions and a permanent collection on the work of Aristide Maillol (at the moment and until 23 July 2017 an exhibition named "21 rue la Boétie" taken from Parisian address of the table dealer Paul Rosenberg Gallery). Good work by Picasso, Braque, Matisse, light 60... is presented as well as excellent explanations on the method of Paul Rosenberg to trade with these artists and their work between the two world wars. The exhibition ends on a very interesting presentation of the historical facts of the Nazis to their specific cultural policy bearing the stigma on the degenerate Art, a pure Germanic Art promotion and operations of destruction and spoliation collections of works of art of the countries occupied as well as individuals (mostly Jewish). The permanent collections are intended to present the work of Aristide Maillol as a sculptor, but also in his pictorial production. Collected by Dina Vierny (model and muse of Maillol) these various works show in a beautiful scene of the talent of the artist. Don't hesitate and visit this beautiful Museum!

  • The Rosenberg exhibition is superb and musealement well organized. Walkable are comfortable as long as we get the morning opening. Nice staff. The part dedicated to Maillol presents the best of the sculptor. A downside: the price of this exhibition, but it has become the standard for private museums. Very nice restoration of places from 2015.

  • Very beautiful exhibition from the collection of Paul Rosenberg, an art dealer visionary, modern, with heads of works by Picasso, Braque, light, Marie Laurencins, Matisse, in a restored where Museum is good to linger. Don't address fool you... The Maillol Museum is at 61 street of Grenelle. And if you want to extend this moment of infinite happiness... I discovered the collection of Alice Koplowitz to Jacquemart André Museum where are exhibited paintings and sculptures all too exceptional, while enjoying a tea or gourmet coffee... in a place as exceptional... a weekend very cultural...

  • Réalise de super expositions temporaires.
  • This Museum is just one block from the Rue de Bac Metro station (the Google map is wrong) Walk south on Rue de Bac and at the Grenelle turn left and it is across the street. A wonderful collection presented by his once model, Dina Vierny.
  • Closed until 17 sep
  • Beautiful exhibition of the artist Ben. Iconoclastic artist. Nice gift shop. The slot floor there is a café Prévert beautifully decorated under a stone Vault. Intimate Museum that deserves to be better known.

  • Pretty nice Museum coming to reopen! It's not very expensive: €5 for under 26 years the permanent part located on the last floor is gorgeous, Maillol representing naked women! The temporary part was the show Ben and unfortunately I found that it was not the place of runs we asked us to wear our backpack in front of us for not damaging works it is really painful! Expo ben however worth a try!
