Musee de la Poupee is a private doll museum that demonstrates the most delicate and admirable of craftwork. The museum was established in 1994 and now offers you a display of more than 500 French dolls. As you explore the venue, you’ll find the dolls are arranged chronologically from about the 1800s to present time. Enjoy the wide range of variety and features, including the construction of bisque, composition, cloth, rubber, celluloid, and plastic.

Exhibits are displayed with scale-model furniture, accessories, and toys from the appropriate periods. You won’t walk away without learning something either--one room focuses on doll-making and the materials used in dolls. The museum also presents temporary exhibits and lectures. • This is a really tiny cute art. Plenty of vintage dolls are placed on the case, are exhibited in different ages. I especially like Antique Doll Jumeau, seen so many happy. Tickets bought at the shop in front of the Museum of fine arts.

  • Used to go here when I was an Au Pair. The kids loved it, both girls and boys. Great and well organised exhibition, amazing selection and details about the dools and their making. Trip back in time assured! :)
  • I would have appreciated an English translation as well. Perhaps next time I go to Paris?
