I went there with my 2 boys 4 and 2 years old. The Museum is small, a bit creepy and especially focused on the history of the beginnings of the magic. In this sense it is interesting but it is not very modern or living. Is there way to do something much more complete and interactive and dynamic. On the other hand, the price is high (8 euros for children over 3 years old) and 10 euros for adults a magic show is proposed. The show is nice (card games) but the magician is unfriendly. He was rude to my 2 year old son: he is unable to do his show with children! It was sufficient to interact with him a little. Instead he asked us to be quiet and to multiply the incorrect thoughts throughout his show hoping to get us out. In short, avoid with kids.

Discover the magic Museum is a kind of dream that it is apparent from this place without having understood the tricks and magic tricks. A good time spent with family and to advise all

Already the place is surprising and gives a good idea of the Sub Parisian soil. We go in as in a sanctuary dedicated to this fascinating art. All there talking about magic, and there is even a small but effective magic show. They are fun, we discover and we spend a great moment.Compter an hour. I will gladly... with children.

This is a great museum for kids and lovers of magic. The automatic part of the museum really wasn't that amazing. I was hoping for more creepy dolls, most of the artefacts were kinda dull. Kids would enjoy the "pushing buttons" factor. The magic museum side was pretty cool. Live magic and some nice interactive displays. There was a bunch of kids having a birthday party so was filled with laughter. I imagine when empty this place is creepy as.

If you can't read French, don't go here! Almost all the signs and explanatory plaques are in French, with only a few having an English translation available.

The museum itself is very average unless you're taking kids there... However the magicians show was really cute and enjoyable

Where to stay in Paris

Each of the city’s 20 arrondissements, or districts, has a personality all its own. If you prefer high-end accommodations and to be in the middle of the action, look for lodging in the 1st through the 4th arrondissements. For more affordable lodging and access to major metro lines, try the 12th. The Oberkampf area of the 11th arrondissement has an edgier, more hip vibe. For easy access to tourist sites,  the 16th is within a stone’s throw of the Arc de Triomph and the Eiffel Tower, and the 17th is within walking distance to the Champs-Elysées. Avoid the 18th, 19th, and 20th, because these can be dangerous, especially if you’re not familiar with the city.
