  • Being under 25 years old, I had access to the Museum for free. I decided to also make temporary expo Golem I found disappointing. Sometimes mixed information that we can't identify each other. Nevertheless, the permanent collection is rich and beautiful. The stories accompanying the visit give a touching human dimension. We see a distinction between the Ashkenazim and Sephardim interesting, showing that breast of a same religion we have influences and cultures. It is rich and full. To do with the memorial of the Shoah.

  • Interesting museum in an interesting neighborhood. I loved the special exhibition on "Golem".
  • A small museum offering a closer look on Jewish culture and history.
  • Great museum on the history of the Jews in Paris. A little overwhelming in size and content, make sure to save quite a few hours to appreciate it all.
  • Glad to see more about Jewish history
  • Very nice Museum. Shows not to be missed. Do not hesitate to make the visits accompanied by the speakers, it's exciting. The themes are varied and constantly renewed. Auditorium. Conferences. Year-round.

Where to stay in Paris

Each of the city’s 20 arrondissements, or districts, has a personality all its own. If you prefer high-end accommodations and to be in the middle of the action, look for lodging in the 1st through the 4th arrondissements. For more affordable lodging and access to major metro lines, try the 12th. The Oberkampf area of the 11th arrondissement has an edgier, more hip vibe. For easy access to tourist sites,  the 16th is within a stone’s throw of the Arc de Triomph and the Eiffel Tower, and the 17th is within walking distance to the Champs-Elysées. Avoid the 18th, 19th, and 20th, because these can be dangerous, especially if you’re not familiar with the city.
