  • It is easy to find, but the tombs are difficult to find. I was trying to find Stendhal, but it turned to be mission impossible. I found Ampere - yes! There are many tombs that no one takes care, and i...  more »
  • While it is more simple than Pere lachaise, worth a visit with its orboledas and visit the tomb of Cortázar, Simone de Beauvoir and Sartre... very beautiful.

  • A really lovely place to stroll through, which might seem strange to some being a cemetery, but the aboveground tombs and cobblestone paths have so much character and history. Definitely recommend and is just down the road from Moulin Rouge so not too far out of the way.
  • An extraordinary place. From tombs of famous people, huge funereal constructions for now-unknown worthies, abandoned large and small plots, not to mention the ladies feeding the cats living there. A calm spot, very photogenic, a place to stroll quietly and reflect. A bit less touristy than Père-Lachaise as it doesn't have any non-French pop stars.
  • I liked walking through the roads inside. The thing here is: don't go if you don't like bugs nor spiderwebs.
  • Interesting graves and history right in the heart of Montmartre. de Gas is buried here with many others.
  • Very impressive place in Paris. Everyone must to see this :)
