Cemetery full of graves shows how the painter Degas, singer Dalida, the Lady of the camellias and many others. Classic Parisian cemetery a little smaller than that of Pere Lachaise Cemetery but very interesting equipped with maps at the entrances. Board of a spin.

This time a little quiet in this world where everything goes at breakneck speed. Upon arrival in this place which marked the most is the concentration of burials. Indeed a bit concentrated as if it meant the gathered next to the other. Fortunately a plan is available at the entrance well done, clear to find the personality you want. A very well-known, beautiful, discreet: Dalida, Brially, La Goulue, the list of occupants of the places remember us memories. A place to visit is free.

We stayed in the hotel adjacent to the cemetery. Cemetery we could see from the window of the hotel room. Did not feel so different from Japan's grave brutality too. Feels lonely area and was not trying.

It's nice for a short walk-through, but gets monotone after awhile. You feel a melancholic atmosphere walking next to the graves of people that have shaped history. Worth a short visit when you are in the area, entrance is free.

Beautiful cemetery, home to very well known figures. Many stray cats can also be seen roaming around.

Where to stay in Paris

Each of the city’s 20 arrondissements, or districts, has a personality all its own. If you prefer high-end accommodations and to be in the middle of the action, look for lodging in the 1st through the 4th arrondissements. For more affordable lodging and access to major metro lines, try the 12th. The Oberkampf area of the 11th arrondissement has an edgier, more hip vibe. For easy access to tourist sites,  the 16th is within a stone’s throw of the Arc de Triomph and the Eiffel Tower, and the 17th is within walking distance to the Champs-Elysées. Avoid the 18th, 19th, and 20th, because these can be dangerous, especially if you’re not familiar with the city.
