  • The entrance to the metro line n ° Royal Palace 1, accessible place Colette, in front of the Comedie Francaise is a work of Art. It was installed in 2000 and is the work of the artist Jean Michel Othoniel. He called this work "the kiosk of the night owls" in this chic and lively, with near Saint Honore Street. It is made of colored glass and structure and spheres of aluminum balls. Six formed spheres of aluminum columns support two domes above the entrance made of giant pearls of the workshops of Murano. The side has closed a park bench made of aluminium. Past the entrance, we can see that the usual subway tile was painted in gold, which is in harmony with the rest of the structure.
