  • If you are a foodie than this is a must dooooo! This market is only open on Wednesdays and Saturdays and I went every possible chance that I had! Best cheese, croissant, bread, fruit, veggies, goodies...  more »
  • Following the recommendation of a Parisian dealer, I visited this market from the 16th district for the first time in 2008 and again in 2016. On both occasions I was hosted in hotels and I thought it was a good way to start the day take this street market and be in contact with the local community because it is not a place very visited by tourists. All products (vegetables, fruits, fish and seafood, deli, meats, dairy, some elaborate meals, etc.) are of the highest quality. We bought some delicious cherries that we were eating on the road. Surely is a good place to stock up on food and go for a picnic in the vicinity of the Eiffel Tower, which is on the other side of the Seine, but not so far. Was pending for the next trip. I also enjoyed very much to find a seller of sprigs of thrush. I knew the tradition of providing those flowers the worker's day, 1st may, as a sign of good fortune and although it was May 21, could not avoid the temptation to buy a bunch also. Delicious fragrance accompanied me all that day as he toured Paris. In both opportunities went to the market a day Saturday by the tomorrow (but according to believe works also the Wednesday). Them put occupy all the extension of the Avenue President Wilson (some 400 meters). Line 9 Metro station Iéna.

  • Outstanding market open twice a week. I have heard from a number of knowledgeable people that this is the best, or one of the best, retail food markets in Paris.
  • Very nice market, right next to the office and embassies district so good for lunch. It's on Wednesdays. I usually take the crepes but there is also Lebanese and "paella"
  • J'adore
  • One of the most beautiful markets of Paris. Certainly this is not given but you can find very beautiful products.
