Currently the seat of the French Senate, Luxembourg Palace is a 17th-century palace with original artwork and a grand salon you can tour. The palace was commissioned by Marie de Médici in 1625, and the painting "Coronation of Marie de' Médici in St.-Denis" is displayed in the Gallery of Residents. Also look for portraits of Anne, Duchess of Montpensier; Louis XVIII of France; and Cardinal Richelieu.   • For now they are government offices and it's unbelievable down the Palace and part of the extension of the gardens are underground government offices. The Palace of Mary of Medicis this very nice

  • Beautiful gardens - peaceful and enchanting with its beautiful tulip beds. Take a seat, read a book and just take in the gorgeous sorroudings.
  • Gorgeous gardens. Here are two tips: 1) come when the sun's out on a summer day and take a seat in one of the many green lawn chairs. 2) Tennis Courts!!! Not many people know about them and so they are actually quite available. :)
  • This place is very beautiful! It is recommended to visit on a sunny day! Why not pack a bottle of wine and picnic essentials, and catch some sun for an hour or two?
