  • You can't go to Paris and not go to the Luxembourg Garden. Its beauty is unbeatable. Take a walk, have a picnic being in a Chair sunbathing and enjoy, take the kids to play with the little boats in the Lake. All paths are valid in that garden!

  • It is a great architectural work of art, it has nice interiors that can be seen only if it is an exhibit or in September during the European heritage week. The gardens surrounding it are an amazing wo...  more »
  • We went there on Sunday afternoon. There're many families, children playing with toy boats in the fountain. The park by the palace had a free concert. Very relaxing to spend a weekend afternoon.

  • Visited on Jun/2015: Lots of chairs and benches, where you can stop for lunch or just a rest between the day. You can find drinks and food in the kiosks around or in the restaurant, close to the Palace. The tip, on hot days, is to find a shadow, of many trees around, and lie down for a while, maybe take a nap.
  • Beautiful garden with lots of statues. You can watch kids push the rented small sailing boats across the central pond, sit outside in the sun or jog around the perimeter.
  • I would return but would spend more time in the gardens and probably only buy a garden ticket. The wait is not worth it. You wait in line longer than the time you spend in the palace. Also advise walking down by the canal because the gardens and gorgeous there too.
  • Nice little spot for relax in such big and busy city!
  • Chill out in the middle of a romantic park in the busy Paris is possible in here.
