  • First visit to this liquor store. Professional, has good products. I am out of the shop with a Malbec Punto final of 2015 purchased € 15 and as a bonus an invitation for a tasting.

  • We stopped here as part of a self guided food tour. We tried 2 different kinds of wine and a scotch as well. The caviste was very friendly and spoke English very well. Because we were asking him quest...  more »
  • This wine shop was recommended to us by the manager at Le Reminet and he was certainly right in doing so. The selection of wines is excellent and in all price ranges. My husband and I love Jacquesson ...  more »

  • Loved this place! We stumbled upon it while wondering around Paris. I must admit the free wine tasting sign drew us in. The three wines we were offered were all fabulous. I'm so jealous of the French. So much good wine at fabulous prices. The shop keep was very friendly and very knowledgeable.
  • It was a rainy Sunday evening in Paris. We wandered down Saint Germain Street to get a bottle of wine and snacks. We wandered into this wine Store on Saint Germain and had a person expirence. The owner of the store was working. He helped us pick some Champagne and wine. He was attentive and worked hard to find a wine the four of us would enjoy. My sister was getting a cold and he looked up which pharmacy would be opened on a Sunday and sent us on our way. We did go back again, but he was closed. If I make it back to Paris, I will be sure to go visit Le Vin Qui Parle to say hello to Loic and taste and choose some fine Parisian wine!
  • Very friendly and very helpfull people. They explain everything and you can tell that they really love the wine.
  • Very warm welcome. Always great discoveries. A panel of choice. Valuable advice. And regular tastings!

Where to stay in Paris

Each of the city’s 20 arrondissements, or districts, has a personality all its own. If you prefer high-end accommodations and to be in the middle of the action, look for lodging in the 1st through the 4th arrondissements. For more affordable lodging and access to major metro lines, try the 12th. The Oberkampf area of the 11th arrondissement has an edgier, more hip vibe. For easy access to tourist sites,  the 16th is within a stone’s throw of the Arc de Triomph and the Eiffel Tower, and the 17th is within walking distance to the Champs-Elysées. Avoid the 18th, 19th, and 20th, because these can be dangerous, especially if you’re not familiar with the city.
