Le Pont de Bir-Hakeim, Paris

(4.5/5 based on 150+ reviews on the web)
Formerly the pont de Passy, Le Pont de Bir-Hakeim is a steel bridge that crosses the Seine River in Paris and is the second bridge to have stood at this site. You can enjoy this site using two levels--one for motor vehicles and one for pedestrians.

If you’re looking for some history, look for the central arch of the viaduct. The arch is decorated with four monumental stone statues, including figures of Science and Labor by Jules-Felix Coutan, and Electricity and Commerce by Jean Antoine Injalbert. Attend at night to enjoy the line of glowing street lights on Le Pont de Bir-Hakeim. Also keep in mind that many movies have featured this bridge, such as Last Tango in Paris and Inception. By using our Paris holiday planner, you can arrange your visit to Le Pont de Bir-Hakeim and other attractions in Paris.

  • Built from 1903 to 1905, he was ranked in Historical Monuments in 1986. The Paris metro passes on the floor of this bridge. It presents beautiful sculptures. In the middle lies the Passy viaduct with its reliefs and crests, and the statue of the Renaissante France. Side dock Branly, to the right of this bridge you can also admire the statues of General Diego Brosset and Jean François de Galaup La Pérouse County. Come to metro station "Bir Hakeim" or RER "Champs de Mars - Tour Eiffel".
