Le Mur des Je t'aime, or the I Love You Wall, is a work of art conceived by Frédéric Baron and Claire Kito. You will be often told this is a must-see for couples from all over the world visiting Paris, the city of romance. The wall is composed of 612 squares of enameled lava, on which 'I love you' is featured more than 310 times in 250 languages. For a lovely walk or a hike, an unusual stop for your honeymoon, the discovery of a missed spot, for saying I love you in different languages, or to stroll in the most romantic place in Paris, check out Le Mur des Je t'aime.

The splashes of red on the fresco represent parts of a broken heart, symbolizing the human race that has been torn apart, which the wall tries to bring back together. This unusual monument, dedicated to love, stands in a Square at the Place des Abbesses in Montmartre. • 'I love you' is featured 311 times in 250 major languages. I couldn't find Lithuanian version but spotted Latvian and my husband found 'I love you' twice in Greek: one in ancient and one in modern dialects. Abbesses is the nearest metro station. Located in small, cute park with many benches where you can enjoy afternoon if weather is good. Many shops near by too.
  • Lovers' corner? One of my favorite spot in Paris. Great backdrop for pictures with your loved ones. Took me some time to find the ' I love you' in Mauritian Creole but it warmed my little heart when i found it. ( Looking for it is actually quite entertaining )
  • It's okay. It's a cute mural but nothing more. There's a few benches to sit on and some greenery, but it's not much. There were also drunk, beligerent men nearby during the day which was strange. It's overrated.
  • Are you in love with someone? You should go here, kiss him/her and take a picture while tasting a pair of macarons. True romantic french cuteness m
  • It was stumbling upon this wall that we saw “I love you” in many languages and forms and thought was super cool. However, after further reflection, I would not especially recommend a detour to visit the little park in which the wall is located, but if you’re around, then it can be worth the visit. In sum, the good thing is that you can see it quickly and check it off your list.
