Lavinia, Paris
(3.6/5 based on 80 reviews on the web)
Opened in 2002, Lavinia is the largest wine-and-spirits store in Europe and a charm of Paris. Spread over three floors near place de la Madeleine, you can browse more than 3,000 brands of French wine and spirits along with more than 2,000 brands from other parts of the world, which makes this shop a unique gem among wine sellers in France.

A simple lunch-only restaurant is on-site as well as a tasting bar. Prices are reasonable and, even if wines in the shop can be somewhat predictable, you will always be happy to find a good Richard Leroy, Fleurie from Pierre-Marie Chermette, or some other famous names. By using our Paris trip generator, you can arrange your visit to Lavinia and other attractions in Paris.

  • A magical place for all lovers of wine. You will always find your happiness, all names are available. The sellers are all very competent. While prices are high, but when you have loyalty card, 20% off days come ease the addition...

  • Beware, the armagnacs sold by the internet store prices are DOUBLE (!) compared to the rates charged to the property! Is no longer a margin that's fattening... Feel free to compare, Ditto for the wine!

  • The largest wine and liquor store in Paris with a very wide variety of mostly French wines on offer. The restaurant upstairs has bottles at the retail price! Tastings organized regularly.
  • Did the wine tasting there and also had a decent lunch at the restaurant. The meal was excellent and the staff was really helpful to suggest for the wine. Although there was a mistake that I was charged twice for the same meal by credit card, the manager was really helpful and willing to solve the problem efficiently after I went back the day after. Will def go and visit there again.
