  • A Heritage that comes from the 19TH century, 1869, which today is under construction to allow the Parisians and all tourists relive the beauty store. Today there are only sidings and workers, but soon, I hope, that the radiance return.

  • The Samaritan woman Gets a makeover. Apart from the annex building occupied by Zara and Sephora, the rest has been demolished and is currently under reconstruction. Completion scheduled for 2018!... Metro station "Pont Neuf"

  • It is all my youth and memories - bravo for this mythical building! I hope that it will be at the height of his past.

  • Another former iconic Paris' department store
  • Bra lego afär
  • Its name comes from an old pump built on the Pont Neuf, in the reign of Henri 4 (see history of La Samaritaine) founded en1870 by Ernest Cognacq and his wife Marie Louise Jay, between the Pont Neuf and the street of La Monnaie. The spouses undertake a new store for more wealthy clients in 1910 to build another store in a different area of Paris. The luxury Samaritan opened in 1917 to 27 street of nasturtiums. His motto "Everything to the Samaritan woman" long been taken up by advertisements throughout the last century, but for too many years the Samaritan woman is under construction, is scheduled to open in 2018, in principle.

  • I very much regret its closure the 4S was a place where you could find everything what we wanted was a little expensive but but it was something in the capital which moreover in Paris... say that a large part is going to be a luxury hotel a palace somewhere it saddens me his will be reserved for a handful of privileged people exclusively.

Where to stay in Paris

Each of the city’s 20 arrondissements, or districts, has a personality all its own. If you prefer high-end accommodations and to be in the middle of the action, look for lodging in the 1st through the 4th arrondissements. For more affordable lodging and access to major metro lines, try the 12th. The Oberkampf area of the 11th arrondissement has an edgier, more hip vibe. For easy access to tourist sites,  the 16th is within a stone’s throw of the Arc de Triomph and the Eiffel Tower, and the 17th is within walking distance to the Champs-Elysées. Avoid the 18th, 19th, and 20th, because these can be dangerous, especially if you’re not familiar with the city.
