L'Atelier Renault Café, Paris

(3.5/5 based on 110+ reviews on the web)
Nestled in the middle of the Champs-Élysées, L'Atelier Renault Café is the hot spot to soak up the sights and sounds at the heart of Paris. Comprised of a bar, a restaurant, and an exhibition space, this is a unique venture by the makers of Renault cars and a very original place to enjoy a drink or a meal.

The trendy bar and restaurant are completed with five high walkways and a design of wood, glass, and aluminum. Drinks and food, including a wide range of choices, are excellent as well.

Exhibitions are held at L'Atelier Renault Café regularly, focusing on cars, sports, culture, and technology. • Loved the look of L'Atelier Renault, and enjoyed the showroom. The restaurant looked fantastic and we made a return visit especially to eat there. On arrival, the service seemed pretty good but it did...  more »

  • I'm not a big fan of cars, but we walked past this place and entered as it was free. There were some interesting cars and some fun things to try inside. Worth a quick stop if you have extra time.  more »

  • We came here only for the drinks (which obviously disappointed the main waiter there as he made a strange looking face), but everything looked amazing. Unfortunately the car showroom was undergoing some rebuilding so we were only able to see behind-the-curtains work but everything was fantastic. Every car lover should visit it! The restaurant/bar is really nice and has modern, a bit futuristic feeling.
  • If you walk around the area and interested in cars, take a look inside. Some interesting race cars and ideas. Will only take a few minutes.
  • Service was OK. Food was terrible. Last night in Paris of a four day stop. Order foie gras as a starter. Girlfriend ordered rump steak and I had the lamb chop. Foie Gras came out as a cold paté. It was mediocre, the accompanying bread was toasted on one side and untouched on the other. Rump Steak was ok. Nothing special. 3/5. The lamb chop was ordered medium rare. Came out well done. Sent it back. The next time it came out blue. For a 300g lamb steak, roughly 1/10th was edible. It was most certainly previously frozen. The most odd part was that it was not in a chop form, but in a bone-in filet. I feel bad leaving a review of one star, but for a 100 € meal (2 people), it was extremely disappointing.
  • Bad service and food, rump steak is badly cooked, and bit expensive.
  • I don't really know how Renault deciding what to exhibit in this shop but every time I'm in Champs-Élysées and I'm entering to this shop I see something else some time the very old Renault cars and sometimes some concept cars of some unique model they just launched. If you there go and see what they there now. On the second floor of this place you will find a restaurant if you feeling hungry...
