  • Great place, where you can in peace and quiet to spend one, two hours. It is a pity that we got there late in the afternoon, because I have not managed to visit several nice museums, which are located in the botanical gardens. However, staying among the different colored flowers, or trees (e.g. cedar of Lebanon planted in 1734) are przyjmnością in itself. Recommend.

  • Keen gardeners will thoroughly enjoy going out to this range of formal gardens. Do not expect to see anything like flower beds set out in an English style. This is more like a horticultural research l...  more »
  • Always nice to go and walk to the garden of plants which, as its name indicates, is dedicated to the plants and flowers. Beautiful trees also. We obviously appreciate the large flowery paths that start at the entrance, the statues of Buffon, Lamarck, the Allées with more wild spaces, the Museum of natural history and above all, the maze in the steep and the forested part of the Garden. A good idea this maze but what misery! What a shame! How did - we could let to the abandonment and ruin the kiosk at the top? Then, move, unlock credits but renovating this kiosk that threatens to collapse. A place for lovers. Observe especially the heights of the maze, the almost flat green roof. As for the parents, watch your kids who run, hide and play in the labyrinth. It really is a great place to disappear, a bit secluded and dark late in the day. So watch your children! Possibly if the heart tells you and your principles are not opposed to it, will see the Wallaby, this breed of small very cute kangaroos which the female can handle at the same time three small at different stages of development. Nice ballad.

  • hidden treasure! actually our tour schedule is to visit the mosque near botanical but we pass that and walk straight to the museum. love it! and we found our national plant there, a banana trees. love from Indonesia!
  • This place is a great little find. The volume and variety of unique plants is astounding and you can easily spend hours there just looking around. The pay for entry greenhouse structure is also incredible and had so many plants I had never seen before. Very well maintained and very interesting.
  • Nice and relaxing. Plenty of space for some good wandering. Nice cool spots for lounging on a hot summers day. You have to pay to get in the glass houses, but I guess you could look at that positively and say you don't have to pay to walk around the gardens. To be fair, I would have happily paid a reasonable price to get in. Plenty of options for refreshment. Sufficient toilets. In fact, I went in a very futuristic self cleaning toilet. I'd recommend it. The plants too.
  • Large, well maintained botanic garden. Note tropical greenhouse is not accessible to wheelchairs even though there are signs posted to a handicap entrance. The lift required for wheelchairs is not in service and looks like it has been that way for quite some time.
  • A wonderful botanic garden, free of payment, lots of benches and shadowed places to eat and stay at. Also, place suitable for children. Around the garden there are variety of museums in all kinds of subjects- botanics, dinosaurs etc.

Where to stay in Paris

Each of the city’s 20 arrondissements, or districts, has a personality all its own. If you prefer high-end accommodations and to be in the middle of the action, look for lodging in the 1st through the 4th arrondissements. For more affordable lodging and access to major metro lines, try the 12th. The Oberkampf area of the 11th arrondissement has an edgier, more hip vibe. For easy access to tourist sites,  the 16th is within a stone’s throw of the Arc de Triomph and the Eiffel Tower, and the 17th is within walking distance to the Champs-Elysées. Avoid the 18th, 19th, and 20th, because these can be dangerous, especially if you’re not familiar with the city.
