  • I think you can take a rest here for a while. Sitting on bench, watching the Eglise du Dome and around. You can check out where the Eiffel tower is.  more »
  • The intendant's garden is located on the left when looking at the building of the Dome of the Invalides in the 7th arrondissement. It consists of paths among lawns and flowerbeds of geometric shapes. The style of the garden is deliberately "A la française" with borders decorated with carved boxwood, yew cone shaped. An alley of charms borders the building and a lime is welcome during hot temperatures. The whole is embellished with a basin at its center with a jet of water of circumstance. The statue of the architect of King Louis XIV, Jules Hardouin Mansart, Builder of the Dome, is on the edge of the aisle. It is the work of Ernest Dubois sculptor, in the 19 th century. This garden had already been imagined by Robert de Cotte in the 18 th century but was created in 1980. It is accessible at no. 53 the Avenue and the Tour-Maubourg metro station "Ecole Militaire" line n ° 8 and taking avenue Tourville

There is a statue of Jules Hardouin Mansart, arq. the dome, work of Ernest Dubois. The garden was designed by Robert Cotte, in the 17th century, but newly made in 1980. From here you see the Tower Eiffel.
