Ile Saint-Louis, Paris

(4.7/5 based on 3,800+ reviews on the web)
The smaller of two natural islands in the Seine, Ile Saint-Louis has the feel of a 17th-century French village in the very center of Paris. The island has only narrow one-way streets, no metro stations, and just two bus stops. Most of the island is residential, but there are several fromageries, restaurants, boutiques, outdoor cafes, ice cream parlors, and a cathedral. Walk over the small bridge connecting the island with Île de la Cité to see artists and street performers, such as musicians, mimes, and jugglers. Make Ile Saint-Louis a part of your Paris vacation plans using our Paris vacation route planner.

  • Every time I go to Paris I try to make a step on foot through the streets of the island. The shops, but especially the restaurants as Nos ancetres les Gaulois are based here. An enchanted atmosphere.

  • The people who live on the island of Saint Louis is not called themselves the Parisian Saint Luigi Cherry said. That is pride for yourself where you live. Until a visit to the île Saint-Louis Saint Luigi did not understand, not until today visited Nautilus Bonnie makes sense. Coming across a bridge into the Seine river around the Saint-Louis island schools and housing, a wide range of shops, Atelier together beautifully. The value of the land in expensive Paris. Handicrafts stores and jelly, chocolate, candy, gel, such as various snacks in La also stores lots of eyes and mouth are all enjoyable, too.
