Gare du Nord, Paris
(1.5/5 based on 1,500+ reviews on the web)
One of the six large terminus railway stations of the mainline network for Paris, Gare du Nord is well known for its architectural beauty. A sculptural display represents the principal cities served by the station. Eight of the nine majestic statues crowning the building along the cornice line illustrate destinations outside France, with the ninth figure of Paris in the center. The station has served as a setting in numerous films, such as "The Bourne Ultimatum" and "Ocean’s Twelve," and is mentioned in books such as "The Da Vinci Code" and "The Historian." Through this station, you can connect with several urban transportation lines, including Paris Métro, RER, and buses. With around 190 million travelers per year, this is the busiest railway station in Europe. Put Gare du Nord at the forefront of your travel plans using our Paris trip itinerary builder.

  • 8 years I take the train to paris for work and regularly is the galley. Regular delays say missing dirty station information. Closed or dirty trains and station's room is paid outright. Controllers and a traffic led by incompetent management. The Sncf is just to take by obligation.

  • Large station, with sufficient amenities. It's convenient and has lockers for keeping your luggage in case you still have some time to hang around before boarding your train.
  • Gare du Nord was chosen as a starting point for train travel yesterday Thalys route Gare du Nord-Paris-Bruxelles-Midi. Railway station-quite a decent and despite its huge size to navigate it quite convenient. In General, everything is thought out, even security control when landing on a particular Thalys neither time nor nerves does not take ... Actually the 350-kilometre journey from Paris to Brussels took exactly 22 minutes 1:00 train, though, five minutes late. Although moved seats at speeds under 300 km/h.

  • Fast-service burger chain. Decent if you are heading to the Eurostar without much time.
  • My fries were cold and the burger very small and nothing like the picture. I will go to the MacDonald's next door next time.
  • Far superior to McDonald's
  • Food, milkshake taste bad, couldn't complete it. Macdonalds is better and cheaper!
  • Unwelcoming staff, clearly they didn't like me asking if they had pomotions for students. Hm ok.
