  • While it is frustrating to know that most of the collection hides behind closed doors, this gallery is indeed nice to visit, and includes huge crystals and meteorites.  more »
  • Full disclosure: we love rocks and gems. So the prospect of a geologic museum in the middle of the beautiful city was a treat. It's small, but has great displays, some really big pieces, and is next t...  more »
  • The camera really can't replace our own eyes. He must see them for real. Some stones have colors that are available following a point of view, it is very beautiful to see, it makes you want to go back. The exhibition has the size it takes to enjoy the guided tour.

  • €6 euro to see a tiny room of large crystals, half of which you can observe from the doorway. It's a crime that the museums around this garden have no combined ticket. To see all of them, you need to shell out about €30, paying separately at each. The greenhouse and mineral display are small and unimpressive, and they offer ZERO ENGLISH EXPLANATION. The only one worth the price of admission is the comparative anatomy gallery. Just go there; it's amazing.
  • Small... but if you let yourself appreciate the wonders of stones, you won't be disapointed. 1h max, 2h if you like to slack and read it all !
  • A Must for the Mineral and beautifull stone lovers... World's largest Geant Crystals collection.
  • Simply awesome
  • Amazing place to do a fashion show in 😏

Where to stay in Paris

Each of the city’s 20 arrondissements, or districts, has a personality all its own. If you prefer high-end accommodations and to be in the middle of the action, look for lodging in the 1st through the 4th arrondissements. For more affordable lodging and access to major metro lines, try the 12th. The Oberkampf area of the 11th arrondissement has an edgier, more hip vibe. For easy access to tourist sites,  the 16th is within a stone’s throw of the Arc de Triomph and the Eiffel Tower, and the 17th is within walking distance to the Champs-Elysées. Avoid the 18th, 19th, and 20th, because these can be dangerous, especially if you’re not familiar with the city.
