  • We observe this beautiful Fountain on the way to the Chatelet-Les Halles Metro after visiting the Pompidou. Very nice Memorial, classical and exuberant art. It is worth to admire her even if you don't always have water.

  • I've known this fountain several years ago and sitting on benches under the shades that surround it, was a real pleasure to relative calm, listening to the gentle sound of the fountain and the singing of the birds in the trees, but this place was at the time, pretty well attended. This beautiful Fountain, elegant Renaissance style, is located in the middle of a square with shading between the Forum des Halles and Saint Denis Street. Unfortunately she suffers the inconvenience of a rather creepy attendance even in day with while still decent people, but also outcasts who Panhandle, tramps, idle people and loud, "pickpocket", etc., not to mention the detritus left by all these people. Everyone ends up around this fountain and this causes a very bad impression, which absolutely does not want to linger. Too bad, but this place does not escape the unenviable fate of some Parisian places, which deteriorate in recent years, giving a bad image of Paris.

  • The square and fountain are impressive but it is a living part of the city. There is lots of activity. Watch your wallet. Close do Les Halles so you're likely right beside it anyway.
