Espace Dalí, Paris

(3.9/5 based on 700+ reviews on the web)
Espace Dalí holds a collection of the great Surrealist artist's often overlooked sculptural works. This more an homage to the artist than a serious museum, with the majority of works reproductions. To find it, head up to Sacré-Cœur and stand facing it and take a left. Keep your eye out for small Dali signs. • I'm a fan of surrealism and Dali's work. In this small space we find paintings, sculptures and many of his stories. I was just visiting in January and by chance, I spoke briefly with the Director of the Museum, which receives this month, Joann's work Far, a young franco-Israeli. His work presented there are comics, considered today as important as the work of Dali, and valued economically.

  • Very nice Museum, which traces the life of Dalí through his many and varied works. A very good time!

  • A small place that allows to plunge forward into the magical world of Dalí. I visited, with a friend, this place at the exhibition of Johann Sfar. We enjoyed the proposed sculptures (the eyes, including the elephant) and the exhibition of drawings of Sfar. It's a small exhibition but after which it appears happy to be immersed in this world of Dalí directly and through the drawings of Sfar.

  • Informative exhibit. Not large. Nice way to spend a few hours.
  • I was really disappointed once I was in. I was expecting a large number of Dali's paintings and sculptures, but there were just two little rooms with few sculptres some paintings and some comics drown on the wall. Definetly not worth the price and time wasted! If I could I would give it a zero!
  • A great collection of Dali's work in a beautiful, artsy area of Paris. Great little restaurants and bars around the corner.
  • Dali's art goes beyond the comprehension of a normal person (including myself). The Espace Dali represents the evolution of the mastermind himself with his penchants as well as the steps of some of his pieces. Take a step back from the busy Paris outside of the place of our imagination.
  • Very small, with art inspired by Dali. I like his style and am not an art museum fan, so I personally didn't mind those two factors at all, but some people might. The gift shop is very nice, though a little expensive. I probably won't visit again, but it wasn't a bad experience at all.
