  • beautiful old church by which you cannot pass, walking along the Boulevard Haussmann. Is at an important crossroad, so around always noisy.

  • Byzantine and Romanesque style, this church was built from 1860 to 1871 and was classified at the Historical Monuments in 1993. Currently, the façade of the main entrance is being renovated, which does not prevent the visit. Inside, you will discover a beautiful heritage (way of the cross, altars and altarpieces, a large number of stained glass windows, statues... A nice visit, don't forget to see the statue of Joan of Arc in front of the Church and the Jules Simon statue located at the rear of the Church. Come in means of transport, metro line 9, station "Augustine".

  • The church looks very nice from the outside although it's very hard to get a good photo of the whole church because it's surrounded with trees and buildings in the inside the church look nice but you wouldn't see anything out of the ordinary to my own opinion. I wouldn't come here unless I'm in the area already because there are much more striking and amazing churches to see in Paris.
  • Saint-Augustin is a Lovery Clumpsy Giant. It is kind of forgotten, sadly, because in every small detail and in every edge of this church architecture is possible to point out the beauty of the XIXth century. Also, when visiting, enjoy the pleasent square beside the church: Place Henri Bergson
  • So nice church
  • If you love cathedrals, awesome architecture and beautiful buildings in general you're in for a treat. Oddly, it's not marked as an attraction so I had to spend a bit of time on google maps looking for it. It's a short walk from Eglise de La Madeleine, which is itself a short walk from the Palais Garnier (both highly recommended) I was around there on a weekday so it was closed, and there was construction going on around the entrance (renovation, maybe?) so I wasn't sure if there was even access, but since all you have to do is walk up to it and appreciate it, it's worth the effort
  • beautifull church!
