  • I think it's still not well known in Japan, but it's an up-and-coming young chocolatier. The taste is certainly delicious^^ I haven't met the chef yet, but I hope to see you someday.

  • Although it is praised in France and New York, it is a chocolate specialty store that is not well known in Japan. I was able to visit the hotel with high expectations for the reviews that i would like to taste a lot. The young man chocolatier was always with the top customers, and he didn't have time, so he was asked to deal with a girl who seemed to be working part-time. Three sheets of chocolate cost 31 euros, but Sale has a lot of rock salt-like stuff, but the taste of salt is... (My tongue may not be delicate. The one that i wanted and chose praline was the curry color strong in Praline & Cumin (But I did not confirm well is bad). There was no tasting (i'm so mean...) and on the way home, Chocolatier put her hand on her back with a super smile, but she was not happy. This time it was a failure. Because it is a very high evaluation shop, I want to expect it next time.

  • This was a stop on our secret food and wine tour of Le Marais. We spent likely 45 min here - learning about the different origins and percentages of chocolates, and of course, sampling away. Try the s...  more »

  • This place is incredible. I was lucky enough to have Edwart guide me through their chocolate selection, and it was divine. Each chocolate was completely unique, like tasting a rare wine with layers of flavour, strong tasting notes, amazing! I have high standards when it comes to my chocolate - bean to bar, single origin, etc. This place was in a different league! And Edwart is a real artist, a poet of chocolate, he made this into far more than a shopping experience, it was brilliant - the sequence of tastings, his "narration" of the flavours, his generosity and knowledge... wow. I hope this is going to become the bar for the chocolate revolution, because chocolate deserves the attention that is currently reserved mainly to wine (sometimes coffee or whiskey).
  • Edwart is amazing! On our first visit Edwin led us through their chocolate selection, asking us questions about what we like and pointing out ones for us to try. All of them are amazing in their own way, and the flavours pop. We made a point of coming back the next time we were in Paris to buy a few more boxes. Definitely visit if you love chocolate!
  • Edwart is easily the best chocolatier I have visited in Paris. When we entered the store the associate immediately greeted us in excellent English and offered to let us taste some of their chocolates. The offerings they provided were excellent and when it came time to fill a box, the associate was very knowledgeable about all the chocolates and was a huge help in ensuring the best selection was provided. I will be returning here on my subsequent trips to Paris!
  • Fantastic experience. We just went in to look around and buy a few small gifts. We started talking with Edwin (the chocolatier?), who was super friendly with a good sense of humor. He could tell we knew just a bit about chocolate and were interested in learning more so he took the time to explain the different chocolate terroirs and taste us on many different offerings. He was very knowledgeable, as was the sales woman. Definitely make a stop here.
  • We stopped here on a walking food tour and had the best chocolate on the holiday we had a introduction to how the chocolates are made and from where then a tasting of a couple to ;) Only wish i got more to bring home but i ate them all to quick. Also wish i got some photos
