Great feeling to know the Museum of someone who I admire for his voice initially that it conveys passion, one must live passionate for life, and for what it does.

We visited this small Museum of the 11th arrondissement after making an appointment by phone, what is required to visit the apartment. The place is small, logical knowing that Edith Piaf lived there being young, but very friendly. There are a lot of paintings, sculptures, and other objects to admire in two parts. The host is friendly and happy to answer all questions that might arise about the artist. Some memories are also for sale. The Museum is free and worth a visit if you are interested in the kid!

Failed to schedule a meeting, I watched the only building from the outside. The area to which a little hard to get use unless the famous Edith Piaf. Pere Lachaise Cemetery is the tomb of pieśniarki.

Personal, interesting and made by fans for the fans. Lacking a contextualization of Piaf for a broader audience.

Attention, a bit of indulgence! This museum is located in the private apartment of a gentleman who is aging, who lives there, who has known Piaf, who managed to pick up some souvenirs and that trying to support this museum as it can! (Piaf lived in this apartment briefly). He has long hoped authorities political, municipal, cultural, help to create a true Museum of Piaf and or French song but this project never saw the day due to lack of support and money. There is a scene of Piaf dress, big plush offered to Edith by her husband Théo Sarapo and other personal and even objects of Marcel Cerdan boxing gloves! So be indulgent, Edith Piaf deserves a true and great Museum but that to fight and stand up!

a very unpleasant welcome, a free Museum where you're asked to pay at the end of the visit, for a "Museum" dusty 30 m² where we'll show you two dress a plush of Edith Piaf and a panoply of item for sale (usb, book, cd key Cup, etc...) the purpose of this museum is for commercial purposes, nothing more. Having spent my last piece to a homeless (everyone knows Paris and its misery) I could not deposited money in the cupola of the association of the friends of Edith Piaf. The host of the Museum was quite unpleasant and we slammed the door in the face at the end of the tour after have forced us our hand to pay a museum telling Basic is free. I highly recommend this museum which is very disappointing and may disappoint many fans.

This place does not deserve the name he gives himself.

Where to stay in Paris

Each of the city’s 20 arrondissements, or districts, has a personality all its own. If you prefer high-end accommodations and to be in the middle of the action, look for lodging in the 1st through the 4th arrondissements. For more affordable lodging and access to major metro lines, try the 12th. The Oberkampf area of the 11th arrondissement has an edgier, more hip vibe. For easy access to tourist sites,  the 16th is within a stone’s throw of the Arc de Triomph and the Eiffel Tower, and the 17th is within walking distance to the Champs-Elysées. Avoid the 18th, 19th, and 20th, because these can be dangerous, especially if you’re not familiar with the city.
