  • Yes, it's true. But everyone says that the wine produced from the last vineyard in Paris is not all that good. Still this patch of grapes in lovely in a wonderful neighborhood.  more »
  • I think that few tourists venture far. It's CR left the vineyard of Montmartre. Take the opportunity to visit the Museum of Montmartre just above.

  • From basilique du Sacre-Coeur, place du Tertre square go West on, appeared suddenly and vineyards in two blocks on your right and turn right at the first corner went down the slope to the North from the Hill of Montmartre. Amazed if in vineyards on the north slope of the Hill wine region of Burgundy and Bordeaux look at the scale when it comes to cute little thing, Paris in vineyards. Had a high chain-link fence across the close vine with leaves and flowers coming from this. It seems heard later set up the Atelier Renoir ruins, there is the living artists such as Utrillo Montmartre Museum in vines in the grounds of the Museum. Had abandoned the plan, and resist when the surging wave of urbanization, vineyards once vanished from the Hill of Montmartre, but was incorporated into the Paris Montmartre painters and musicians, such as it is promoted the revival of the vineyards. Brilliantly revived Museum with painters, its vineyards, the fruit as the wine harvest festival in October is unveiled and it came to be sold. Strolling and peaceful views of the vineyard was a good mood.

  • It's impossible not to like it
  • Very complicated to get there.....but it is interesting to find a wine yard in the middle of Paris, with buildings and cars around. Too bad the place is closed to public most of the time. But it is worth to climb up there! Bethania
  • Vineyard "Clos de Montmartre". What a surprise find in the middle of the city of Paris, a cultivated vineyard. It is closed to the public but you can see perfectly from the street. Curious to see.
