  • The Church does not go unnoticed in the Montmartre district. But it has very little flow of visitors. Perhaps the tourists are more interested in other neighborhood attractions. At the entrance a panel tells the story of the construction and of the problems that have occurred over the years. The interior is wide and stripped, no large banks; only common wooden chairs. Pointed out some chairs with his back to the altar, facing the font right in the center of the nave of the Church.

  • Church in armed cement covered with bricks, produced by Anatole de Baudot late 19th-early 20th is inspired by Art Nouveau. Also very beautiful stained glass. The central portal (outside) is the ceramist A. Bigot and sculptures (in the centre of St Jean) Pierre Roche. This church is worth a visit, it is unfortunately less known than the sacred heart but infinitely more beautiful.

  • a church with the facade completely covered with bricks and tiles, kinda quiet compared to the tourist district of Montmartre, close to the Metro station Abbesses, the rest around here, we tend to go to the Sacred Heart and the narrow lanes leading to the Place du Tertre, but surely this church is worth a visit!

  • The exterior red brick of this church belies the wonder that are inside. The reinforced concrete structure has been built into the hillside. There is wonderful wood work, mosaics and vaulting inside. The exterior does have minimal amounts of Art Deco elements, apparently they ran out of funding. Neat stop when at the Place du Abesses at the foot of Montmartre.
  • For a really different and surprising church.
  • A beautiful church.
  • A beautiful church.
  • Never went inside the church, but the area is great.
