  • The Museum tells the story of the city of Paris and has one wing only to the revolutionary period. Clothes, famous paintings, crazy, artifacts and remains of the Bastille is in this museum.

  • I had the opportunity to make a guided tour of the Museum during the heritage days and I wasn't at all disappointed. The building in him even is beautiful and works presented also.

  • In addition to being a beautiful medieval mansion with a period architecture, it is the Museum that teaches the history of the capital. A story whose major turning points are illustrated by objects and documents of the time. Must-have!

  • Wonderful museum. Beats many museums which are not free. I went for their Napoleon exhibition in 2015 and I've been going back ever since. Nice collection of beetle epoque paintings and some really interesting information on the architecture and urban landscape of fin d'siecle Paris. Go for an hour when you are wandering around the marais, go for half an hour before you leave, who cares, it's free!
  • I heard great things about this museum but sadly the museum is closed from 3 Oct, 2016- till end of 2019 as the sign advises.
  • Nice little museum with a small but diverse collection. Beautiful building and courtyard. Well worth a 20-30 minute look especially since it is free.
  • Really beautiful small Garden, but nothing is written in English, audioguides are only available in French. So not recommended for foreign tourists.
  • Important: the place is close from early October 2016 until late 2019 (!!!!) for renovation.
