  • We have an ice cream cone (horn) bought at Berthillon on the advice of our travel guide. An absolute must! Rarely eaten such a delicious, ' real ' ice! Our favorites were vanilla and strawberry.

  • Ile Saint Louis Boulevard (? ) In the shops tucked quietly. Also featured is ice cream! Specialty shops and plenty of flavor. In the natural taste worth a stop is. More readable display, store or you can eat.

  • The line was intimidating but moved efficiently. I had the salted caramel and chocolate. The salted caramel is the best ice cream of my life. I will go back, it's reason enough to get on an airplane. ...  more »

  • Nice ice cream shop on the island Saint Louis that a local recommended. It's supposed to be the best ice cream and sorbet shop in Paris. It's easy to get there after a visit to the Notre Dame for tourists. There was a line but it moved quickly and the wait on a Saturday evening at 6 wasn't more that 15mins. The ice cream itself was good. I wanted to try the wild strawberry that people rave about but it was sold out and the lady at the counter recommended their chestnut rum flavor. It didn't disappoint taste wise but the quantity was much lesser than what I expected for the price. Still good for a one time try.
  • It is not every ice cream shop that can close for the month of August, especially since Paris can be quite steamy. You can eat in the cafe, or wait in line to get a cone to go. Fabulous selection of high-quality flavors, with some gourmet combinations. Go outside your comfort zone and try a new flavor (but not more than 2). Just follow the trail of people on the Ile St. Louis
  • We didn't go in but rather just got the ice-cream from the little window. Is it traditional French ice-cream? I'm not sure. But it's definitely tasty, a bit like gelato.
  • The ice cream here is well worth the trip out! The small island is really beautiful. I liked the fresh strawberry and mandarin orange flavors.
  • Excellent ice cream, that is creamy without being overly "frozen". but I understand their gelato is the house specialty. There always seems to be a line-up, but it moves along very quickly. Disappointingly, you are not able to sample any flavours. Given that some of the flavours are difficult to imagine, it seems like a miss to not allow customers to sample the more imaginative flavours. Ice cream and gelato is served in a bowl or cone. 2 scoops of ice cream in a cone sets you back 7 euro (give or take).
