Until 1960 the District of Bercy was a huge wine market (in the 19th century, it was even the 1st market place of wine in the world!). This time there are still the old chais in white stone of the St. Emilion Court, restored and rehabilitated in the early 1990s. They now welcome an original open-air mall, or the prestigious store signs (Cinemas UGC, Fnac, Animalis, Nature and discovery, Nicolas, Club MED travel, shop of PSG...) share space with many bars and restaurants. Bercy Village is one of the places "plugged in" to the capital where he is good to come. Whether for walking, shopping, having a drink with friends or to eat, there is always a pleasant time waiting for you. The first rays of Sun the terraces fill up Parisians and visitors enjoy a pure moment of relaxation. Paying visits, simple or with tasting wine to "Chai 33" are offered on weekends. In summer, every Thursday, from the free outdoor concerts on June 21, allow young talent to express themselves. Bercy Village is close to the Cinémathèque Française, the Museum of Carnival arts and the Bercy Park. Nearby we find the banks of the Seine, the wood of Vincennes and the animal park of the city of Paris. The metro station "Court saint emilion" (line 14) is only a few meters from the site. Two paying car parks (Parking St Emilion and Parking light), totalling about 3,000 seats, are not far away. The neighborhood is always very lively during the day and in the evening, guarantee of success that cannot be denied.

Bercy Village, this is the ideal place to spend a good time: a film to the UGC, a good meal in one of the many restaurants (there are for everyone), a beer in a pub (there are even that brews themselves the precious beverage). Make it beautiful or not, it's quiet and friendly even though there is often a lot of people. It is not for nothing :-)

Nice place well redeveloped in the old warehouses of Bercy. Several very nice restaurants. Variety of food leaving the choice according to his preferences. The Bercy Park and the green belt close by are also nice.

Where to stay in Paris

Each of the city’s 20 arrondissements, or districts, has a personality all its own. If you prefer high-end accommodations and to be in the middle of the action, look for lodging in the 1st through the 4th arrondissements. For more affordable lodging and access to major metro lines, try the 12th. The Oberkampf area of the 11th arrondissement has an edgier, more hip vibe. For easy access to tourist sites,  the 16th is within a stone’s throw of the Arc de Triomph and the Eiffel Tower, and the 17th is within walking distance to the Champs-Elysées. Avoid the 18th, 19th, and 20th, because these can be dangerous, especially if you’re not familiar with the city.
