Bastille Market, Paris

Categories: Flea Markets, Shopping
Inspirock Rating:
4.5/5 based on 300+ reviews on the web
One of the largest markets in the city, Bastille Market allows you to meet food producers and sample new flavors as you shop for top-quality food and drinks. You also can find plenty of unexpected items, including sewing machines, beeswax figurines, mousetraps, and more. It takes time to figure out how to navigate the market. Note that this is a rather expensive place to shop for typical grocery fare, but fresh food often comes at lower prices as the day goes on. Remember to ask before you take pictures. Most stallholders welcome you to photograph their produce, but many don't wish to be photographed themselves.
