Specialty Museum Museum
For a unique museum experience, visit Baccarat, which is based around major works produced for the World Fair. In addition, each time, Baccarat gained the highest distinction with gold medals or grand prizes. You will be awed by the display of crystal that shows the technical and stylistic developments that have earned Baccarat its reputation.

Furthermore, this venue welcomes you into one of its last Parisian storehouses of the 19th century. The museum contains displays of fine glass work, including vases, dishes, and stemware; limited-edition collections created by noted designers Georges Chevalier, Ettore Sottsass, Roberto Sambonet, Van day Truex, and Marcial Berro; and pieces commissioned for heads of state, royal, and imperial courts. There are even pieces created for the Emperor of Japan, the Prince of Wales, and Josephine Baker. Use our Paris tour planner to add Baccarat and other attractions to your Paris vacation plans.

  • I have been to Paris around 7-8 times and was looking for something different to see/do rather than the big museums. The Baccarat Musee is small, but with a carefully curated collection of spectacular pieces. There is a film that highlights the craftsmanship involved. My entire visit lasted around 1 hour, fee was 10 Euros in 2016, I would say that $5-6 Euros is probably more what is fair given the size of the Musee. TIP: if you go in the morning or late afternoon (before/after lunch service), ask if you can view the Cristal Room on the 2nd floor (tres chic French restaurant designed by Philippe Stark), and make a stop in the washrooms as well. Probably the most beautiful ones I have seen! Kudos to all the staff in the Musee and Boutique, all were charming and made me feel welcome. Buy something from the boutique for a wonderful (albeit pricey) memento of your trip to Paris.
  • Tiny museum, but very beautiful.
  • cool
  • It was a nice Art Museum has lots of gorgeous chandelier. The toilet was surprised. 2016

  • Worth it if you delight in the midst of so much beauty, luxury and history of one of the most famous brands (if not more) of crystals in the world.
