  • Visit in the middle of July 2017; furnace above, relatively cool ds the crypt. Reasonable affluence, arrived in another universe, a good circuit organized within well-preserved architectural remains, with signs of chronological history (until today) very well designed (summary for children for example). A beautiful collection of gold coins, very didactic reconstructions in 3D of Notre dame and its environment. Very nice, quite expensive, but worth visiting.

  • The location is right in front of Notre Dame Cathedral. In this museum you can learn about the ancient history of Paris. You will be able to meet the ancient structures of the city, from the Roman times. It also has a really nice coin collection. Worth the visit.

  • This is worth visiting if you have the Musee Pass, but I wouldn't pay for it on its own. The ruins are kinda cool but there aren't may. Some cool artifacts and coins to see.
  • It's not mega impressive but it's worth a visit if you're going around Notre Dame Cathedral. You'll learn a lot about the port area, currency and more.
  • The line to get into Note Dame was too overwhelming and the crypt had no line. It was a glimpse into Paris' Roman past and it shows how humans have shaped the physical development of Paris. There are a lot of informative maps and artifacts and different exhibits for kids. It didn't take very long to visit but it was interesting and I'm glad that I went.
  • Loved it! Well preserved and worth a visit
  • A Must visit site during your trip to Paris. One of the most historical and remarkable buildings in Paris. You can go inside and even go to the top. Disney Animated Movie is also based on the same Church.

Where to stay in Paris

Each of the city’s 20 arrondissements, or districts, has a personality all its own. If you prefer high-end accommodations and to be in the middle of the action, look for lodging in the 1st through the 4th arrondissements. For more affordable lodging and access to major metro lines, try the 12th. The Oberkampf area of the 11th arrondissement has an edgier, more hip vibe. For easy access to tourist sites,  the 16th is within a stone’s throw of the Arc de Triomph and the Eiffel Tower, and the 17th is within walking distance to the Champs-Elysées. Avoid the 18th, 19th, and 20th, because these can be dangerous, especially if you’re not familiar with the city.
