  • As to who we like cheese, this little store is paradise. They have several different and very tasty cheeses. Additional some yoghurts of different flavors such as coconut, red among others, none is less. The Lord that we attended explained with patience and great kindness. More is a store to purchase and carry that to eat there but definitely worthwhile. Very reasonable prices and very good quality

  • We found Androuet during a food tour we took during our week-long stay in Paris. It's amazing! The selection of cheeses and fruit preserves was outstanding.  more »

  • Androuet has a great selection of delicious cheeses at reasonable prices, and I received friendly service in English when my pitiful French skills were not up to the task. Highly recommended.
  • Exceptional selection of cheeses at very reasonable prices. Very small but good choices for wine and cider. Was helped by perhaps the most polite and helpful young gentleman I have ever met. He spoke a little English but had no problem helping us select some great cheeses. Merci.
  • The nicest man runs this shop full of incredible cheeses
  • Great host and excellent quality products. I loved the gorgonzola with a spoon. A delight for lovers of cheeses.

Where to stay in Paris

Each of the city’s 20 arrondissements, or districts, has a personality all its own. If you prefer high-end accommodations and to be in the middle of the action, look for lodging in the 1st through the 4th arrondissements. For more affordable lodging and access to major metro lines, try the 12th. The Oberkampf area of the 11th arrondissement has an edgier, more hip vibe. For easy access to tourist sites,  the 16th is within a stone’s throw of the Arc de Triomph and the Eiffel Tower, and the 17th is within walking distance to the Champs-Elysées. Avoid the 18th, 19th, and 20th, because these can be dangerous, especially if you’re not familiar with the city.
