  • I found this little shop while exploring the streets near my hotel. I was enchanted by the window display and knew I had to enter the store - it reminded me of that infamous movie 'Chocolate'. I found...  more »

  • It was a treat of a lifetime. We learned about A L'Etoile d'Or from the writings and video of David Levovitz. When we arrived, Denise Acabo was busy with customers in the shop. But, very shortly, we were the recipients of the warmest welcome we received while in Paris. She just embraced you and you're immediately inspired by her joyful manner and exquisite candy shop. We loved every minute with her. We left with a bag of delicious candies we continued to enjoy over our next two weeks in France. This is a must and it will always be one of the major highlights of our most recent trip to Paris. Merci beaucoup, Denise Acabo.
  • What an amazing restaurant. I had the Mont Blanc crêpe and my wife had the Bretanne crêpe. Both were delicious. While the food was truly impressive the service was even better. After 4 days in France this was the first time we felt welcomed at a restaurant. They were willing to answer all of our questions and they had their complete menu in English. We will definitely come back.
  • Best Chocolatier in Paris. Unique offerings from some of the best French chocolate, Beuure et Sale caramels, and candy made on earth. Owner Denise Abaco is delightful, friendly, and oh so knowledgable. One does not need to speak French to be welcomed warmly by her and her assistant. A must see for any lover of all things chocolate. One metro stop away from the Anvers stop, just below Sacre Coeur. Go!
  • Unbeatable candy!
  • At Denise ACABO when tasting chocolates that perfume you the mouth to the point that we'd rather kiss you. Greedy words. His shop is a treasure to preserve. Two steps from the famous moulin rouge Denise awaits you in his wonderful place. Must-see during your visit to Paris.
