  • The 9th district of the capital is located right bank of the Seine, between the District of Pigalle in the North to the limit of the old wall farmers generals of 1784 and the large Boulevards South, old limit of the enclosure of Louis XIII in 1566. In addition all the streets that extend the historic streets of the old Paris beyond the confines of Louis XIII, referred to as "Suburb". For example the Montmartre Street located in the 2nd arrondissement changes its name beyond the Boulevard Montmartre and bears the name of street of Faubourg Montmartre in the 9th arrondissement. This district includes approximately 60,000 inhabitants. It is both residential instead of standing in the South, with some luxury shopping boulevard Haussmann, places of entertainment with the large Boulevards in the South and the boulevards Clichy and Rochechouart North in the neighborhood said of ' Pigalle "." This building was previously the Augny Hotel, the name of the farmer-General, and date from the 18 th century (1748) the old and famous "Theatre Mogador", which presents shows type musicals "Broadway", stands at the No. 28 Mogador behind Galeries Lafayette Street. Finally, the concert hall and shows "L'olympia" is no. 28 nasturtiums boulevard, in the extreme west of the borough.
