Cool place as a tourist. Highlights of this district is according to me: the Luxembourg Gardens-the absolute number 1, Church of St. Germana of Meadows-the oldest church in Paris and St. Peter's Church. He (the second largest church of Paris) and the square on which it is located. The advantage of this part of the city is less than the number of tourists, and at the same time, proximity to main attractions of the city. When it comes to bars, hotels, etc. I think that everyone will find something for everyone.

The 6th arrondissement is located on the left bank of the river Seine, runs from the Pont du Carrouosel, bordering the Seine to the Pont Saint Michel and goes towards the garden of Luxembourg until the Boulevard Montparnasse. Is a district with many tourist attractions, like the Eglise Saint-Germain-des-Présse, museums and the Jardins du Luxembourg. Has many hotels, restaurants and cafés, great to host.

This district is bounded on the North by the Seine River, on the West by the street of Sèvre, on the South by the boulevard of Montparnasse and on the East by the boulevard Saint-Michel. It's a neighborhood where it is pleasant to stroll through the small streets of the neighborhood of Saint Germain or even to stroll in the gardens of the Luxembourg. In this district, we can find many good restaurants and various shops and the meeting points for many artists. Let's not forget to go to the place Saint Sulpice and visit the Church of the same name. The walk along the banks of the Seine towards Notre Dame is also interesting.

Where to stay in Paris

Each of the city’s 20 arrondissements, or districts, has a personality all its own. If you prefer high-end accommodations and to be in the middle of the action, look for lodging in the 1st through the 4th arrondissements. For more affordable lodging and access to major metro lines, try the 12th. The Oberkampf area of the 11th arrondissement has an edgier, more hip vibe. For easy access to tourist sites,  the 16th is within a stone’s throw of the Arc de Triomph and the Eiffel Tower, and the 17th is within walking distance to the Champs-Elysées. Avoid the 18th, 19th, and 20th, because these can be dangerous, especially if you’re not familiar with the city.
