  • If you are in doubt about where to stay during your visit to Paris, this neighborhood, not far from the famous Marais, could do for you. In particular, you might choose a hotel Bastille. Very close, but not too much, to the beautiful station of Gare de Lyon (12 arrondisement) station served by TGV from Italy which lies to the southeast of the city, the neighborhood I found it to be very well connected with the city centre by metro stations that serve the area, starting from the main one located in Place de la Bastille. The revolutionary past of the neighborhood lies wrapped in a piece of history in the depths of this metro station, where they found the remains of the foundations of the old prison. The ancient laboratory, linked to the production of traditional furniture, now is taken up in the industrious and modern vibrancy vital fashion stores. For a walk to discover small streets are cobbled paths leading to courtyards that conceal a charm of another era. In the area there are numerous services, bars, international restaurants and trendy bars also appreciated by the French nightlife.
