Caverne du Dragon is a WWI museum and official remembrance site where German forces used the old quarry as an underground barrack. The one-square-kilometer (0.62 square miles) cave network is called "The Dragon's Lair." The subterranean caverns were originally a tunnel system created by the limestone quarry during the 17th century. The caves are 20–40 meters (12–24 miles) below the surface. They were used as field hospitals and command posts by both the French and German forces. Very interesting guided visit! the speaker knows really well the history and he is passionated. It teaches you a not so well known story during 1st World War with real objects and fighting area. Absolutely worth the visit.

Very interesting visually and historically. Has extensive history that is well explained by guides. Limited facilities for english but some staff did speak English. Lovely hill side drive on the way.
