  • I went 2 times in this museum that I find really good, because a real immersion in this bunker who was one of the places of d-day and, more generally, of the second world war, with objects of era and the explanations and interesting anecdotes.

  • Ouistreham is entering the large bunker in the form of a block of flats immediately. During the war there were Windows and facades on painted, in order not to stand out. In the outdoor area in front of the entrance is a landing boat and a tank as crowd puller. Once past the tiny gift shop off the stairs, you can easily visit the different floors with the authentic establishments. Of course, everything with the stair lifts there were then not yet. At the very top on the lookout you can still by a one-metre-wide binoculars all overlooked.

  • It is two steps from the beach found the wall that dominates everything has the round with a 360 ° view when you are at the top of the bunker. Many parts of origins and care to restore the scenes of eras with a lot of sheets in several languages. The passages are very cramped, but it's part of the charm of this place. Imagine what that must have been the life at the time in these walls. A must do if you're on Ouistreham.

  • Very impressive bunker. When we visited it, there where not many tourists, but I can imagine its gets to crowded in the high season. Nevertheless, impressive what the germans where able to develop in so short notice. Everything looked very well reconstructed and was guided by a lot off original photo material on the walls. Well worth a visit, but if you want to visit other impressive bunkers, please also visit the bunker complex in Merville, maybe even more impressive with audio reconstructed sound of troups in the bunker while shooting a canon (don't forget to take earplugs with you!)
  • Very expensive to visit the bunker 7,50€, no air inside, i was there like 10 minutes and i had to rush out! I understand the historycal value but there are so many places that worth a visit instead of this. The village is very nice however
  • Best example of a WW2 German defence command centre in Normandy. Everything is intact, just like the day the German troops surrendered. The surrender story is faithfully described (52 Germans and only 3 British solders) with no casualties as the Germans just gave up The great bunker was both a gun placement guarding the D-Day beaches and a forward command post relaying information to Caen. Well worth an hour to visit as part of a D-Day beaches tour
  • Expensive, nothing new inside and they keep letting people in, too crowded, too few oxygen... Bad experience!
  • It was very interesting like most of st Malo is. Nice place to visit
